Normal Work Hours and Days:  Normal work schedules are 12-hour days, up to seven days a week. Days and hours vary based on project schedules, locations and workload. Mandatory overtime based on seasonal workload and remote work settings.

Responsible for organizing, cleaning, and maintaining the yard. Will assist in inspecting equipment, basic maintenance, and helping with other duties as need. A strong work ethic and self-motivation is important as position works independently.
Essential Functions:
  • Organize the equipment in the yard, inspect the equipment, write-up damage or other maintenance that needs to be performed.
  • Grease equipment, fix tires, and perform other small maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain yard by filling in ruts, applying material where needed, using mats or fabric as needed, and make sure that water is properly draining.
  • Mow grass/weeds, weed whip, spray weeds, pressure wash parking lot and shop aprons, maintain fencing, and pick up trash, junk rigging, and other loose items.
  • Organize and keep an inventory of wire rope, rigging, fuel, flagging, and other items and keep a list of who they are checked out to.
  • Work with mechanics as needed.
  • Take direction from dispatch on other projects to-do as needed.
Other Tasks:
  • Assist in loading and unloading equipment from or to delivery truck.
  • Help ensure that drivers/operators stay efficient in the yard.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
  • Report any hazards, injuries, or ill-health to your supervisor.
  • Adhere to companies policies and work requirements.
  • Maintain dependable attendance.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and preferably able to perform other tasks satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 
Education and/or Experience:
  • Must have valid Driver License.
  • Must have worked for a rig moving company for at least 2 years. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • OSHA 10hr. Training.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Knowledge in oilfield related tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of and ability to read and follow plans, specifications, sketches and
    Grade/mapping control.
  • Knowledge of and ability maintain equipment and follow related procedures.
  • Ability to assess and troubleshoot equipment failure.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply first aid.
  • Ability to see and record written data and information.
  • Ability to communicate information in writing so others will understand.
  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally with others.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
