Normal Work Hours and Days:  Normal work schedule is 6 weeks off, 2 weeks on. Usual hours are from 7am to 5pm. Mandatory work that offsets a 2 week on, 2 week off schedule will sometimes be required.

Summary:
Responsible to manage the inventory of warehouse, use forms to accurately and properly check out parts, organize and maintain warehouse, and keep facility secure. Communicate clearly and effectively with contractors, supervisory personnel, truck drivers, hot shot drivers, and other people through email, phone and in person as needed. Operate a forklift and front-end loader with competence, safety and efficiency to load and offload trucks. Perform other tasks as needed.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Lock/unlock doors to warehouse on a daily basis.
  • Perform inventory check, submit inventory delivery/withdrawal forms, update records, and ensure that all records are accurate.
  • Operate forklift and other equipment both in the warehouse and in the secured yard around the warehouse to load/unload as needed.
  • Receive calls and assist other contractors, pumpers, roustabouts, and supervisors with determining if the needed parts are in inventory or if orders needed to be submitted.
  • Seek to assist personnel with determining what the needed parts are and if there are other pieces that may/should be issued.
  • Manage the return of unused inventory and updating records.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, building, yard, fences and gates as needed.
  • Perform duties in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Help identify hazardous conditions on the job site.
  • Turn in all required paperwork in a timely manner.
 
Other Tasks:
  • Assist in loading and unloading equipment on haul trucks.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.
  • Assist driver/operator as requested.

Education and/or Experience:
Minimum:
  • Must have valid Driver License.
Preferred: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • OSHA 10hr. Training.
 
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Knowledge in oilfield related tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of and ability to read and follow plans, specifications, sketches and
    Grade/mapping control.
  • Knowledge of and ability maintain equipment and follow related procedures.
  • Ability to assess and troubleshoot equipment failure.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply first aid.
  • Ability to see and record written data and information.
  • Ability to communicate information in writing so others will understand.
  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally with others.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
